CHATCORE-AI / MEMO

Keep the answer. Find it again later.

Press the bookmark button under a chat answer and it becomes a memo. The body is Markdown you can rewrite, and it autosaves while you type. Search by keyword, group memos into collections, pin them, archive them. A memo is yours alone until you create a share link for it.

  • Saved in one click from a chat
  • Markdown body, autosaved
  • Private until you share it

WHAT YOU CAN DO

Capture it, organize it, come back to it.

Capture

Chat answers and things you write yourself land in the same list. Leave the title empty and the first line of the body becomes the title.

  • Turn a chat answer into a memo with the bookmark button
  • Write directly on the memo screen (title plus Markdown body)
  • Ask “AI title” to suggest a title from the body
  • Pick a background colour from eight (lemon, amber, mint, and more)

Organize

Collections, pins, and the archive decide where a memo lives, so a growing list stays navigable.

  • Sort memos into collections you name and colour yourself
  • Pin a memo to the top of the list
  • Archive a memo to take it out of the everyday list
  • Use bulk actions to pin, archive, or set a collection on many memos at once
  • Order by manual, newest, recently updated, oldest, or title

Revisit

Search, open, and edit in place. Edits in the detail view autosave once you stop typing.

  • Search titles and bodies by keyword
  • Use “AI similarity” search to find near matches with different wording
  • Switch between edit and preview while you rewrite the Markdown
  • Ask the memo's own AI to summarize, list key points, proofread, or rewrite
  • Export as Markdown, JSON, or CSV, or hand over a single memo as a share link

WHAT IT COVERS

A memo is private until you hand out a link.

WHERE A MEMO COMES FROM

  • From a chat answerOne press of the bookmark button under the answer. If the title is empty, the first line of the body is used.
  • Directly on the memo screenWrite a title and a body. The body is Markdown, with edit and preview tabs.
  • From an MCP-capable AI clientA client you have authorized can create, replace, or append to memos via create_memo, update_memo, and append_memo_content.

HOW IT IS ORGANIZED

  • CollectionsGroup memos under a name and colour you choose. A memo belongs to at most one collection.
  • PinsKeep a memo at the top. Pinned memos are listed separately from the rest.
  • ArchiveTake a memo out of the everyday list without deleting it. You can view the archive alone and restore from it.

What sharing exposes

What a share link shows
That memo's title, the time it was saved, and its body. No sign-in required.
What it does not show
Your name or account details, your other memos, your collections, your archive. Nothing you have not shared appears.
Until you create a link
A memo opens only from your own account. Signed out, the list is not shown at all.

Before you rely on it, know this

  • Creating and reading memos needs a free account. Someone signed out can only open a share link you handed them.
  • A share link created from the memo screen expires after 30 days, after which the page no longer opens.
  • There is no revoke button on the memo screen yet. To stop sharing sooner, delete the memo — deleting it also kills the link.
  • There is no edit history. Edits in the detail view autosave over the previous text and cannot be rolled back.
  • Memos take no file or image attachments. Text (Markdown) is all they hold.
  • Writes over MCP are capped at 20,000 characters per body and 60 writes per hour.

HOW IT WORKS

From a chat answer to a shared link in three steps.

  1. Save an answer from a chat

Press the bookmark button under the answer you want to keep and it becomes a memo right there. Leave the title empty and the first line of the body becomes the title.

  2. Find it and edit in place

Open the memo from search, sorting, or a collection, and rewrite it as Markdown. It autosaves once you stop typing and the status reads “Saved”.

  3. Hand over only what you mean to

Create a share link and someone signed out can read that memo alone. To keep a copy, export as Markdown, JSON, or CSV.

What the AI handles

AI title
Suggests a title from the body. If you dislike it, overwrite it yourself.
The memo's own AI
Reads the memo you have open and answers requests to summarize, list key points, proofread, or rewrite. Nothing reaches the body until you press the run button.
AI similarity search
Pick it as the sort order and memos are ranked by how close their content is, even when the keywords differ. It falls back to ordinary search when unavailable.

Price and prerequisites

Price
Free. No credit card is involved.
What you need
A free account (email address or Google). A browser is enough.
Without an account
Opening a share link someone gave you and reading that single memo.
From other AI tools
Connect an MCP-capable client and it can read through list_memos, search_memos, and list_memo_collections, and write through create_memo, update_memo, and append_memo_content.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Questions people ask before they trust it.

Can other people see my memos?
Your memos open only from your own account. The only ones anyone else can read are those you have created a share link for, and that page shows just the memo's title, saved time, and body — not your name, your other memos, or your collections.
How long does a share link stay valid?
A share link created from the memo screen expires after 30 days, after which the page no longer opens. There is no revoke button yet, so to stop sharing sooner, delete the memo; deleting it also invalidates the link.
Can I undo an edit?
No. Edits in the detail view autosave once you stop typing, and no earlier version is kept. Before a large rewrite, take a copy with “Copy full text” or an export.
What formats can I export to?
Markdown, JSON, and CSV. You can export everything currently listed, or only the memos you select.
Can another AI tool create memos for me?
Connect an MCP-capable client and it can list, search, and read your collections, and create, update, or append to memos. A body is capped at 20,000 characters and writes at 60 per hour.
